This concert is part of the 37-date Wide Open Work of Heart Tour, a country music festival-style tour that will travel coast-to-coast across America from March through late August 2026, in support of Flatland Cavalry’s new album “Work of Heart”, which is set to release on March 27th, 2026. Doors will open at 6:00 PM and music will begin at 7:30 PM. Thousands of fans will come together to celebrate real Texas country music!

Flatland Cavalry

Rooted in the fertile music grounds of Lubbock, Texas, Flatland Cavalry has made a name for itself in the country and Americana touring circuits since the band formed in 2014. Lead vocalist and singer/songwriter Cleto Cordero and drummer Jason Albers will be performing songs like their Gold-certified hit “A Life Where We Work Out” in addition to some of their other fan favorites such as “One I Want” and “Lubbock” which are all love heartbreak stories told in a roots country style. The band is currently getting ready to release their 5th full length record titled “Work of Heart” which will release to the public March 27th, 2026 LIVE. They have accomplished six #1 singles on Texas Country Radio, have over 500 million streams and just released a celebratory 10-year compilation titled “Flatland Forever” in 2025. The Cavalry has also released previous work to great success, including their 2016 album “Humble Folks” and their 2023 album “Wandering Star”.

Randy Rogers Band

For the past 20 years, Randy Rogers Band (RRB) has called San Marcos, Texas home and brings Texas country music to every show. RRB is known for their catchy and upbeat songs such as “One More Sad Song”, “Kiss Me in the Dark”, and “In My Arms Instead” and have established themselves as one of the leading bands in the Texas country genre. The band is composed of Randy Rogers (lead vocals), Geoffrey Hill (guitar), Jon Richardson (bass), Brady Black (fiddle) and Les Lawless (drums). In 2024, their historic breakthrough album “Rollercoaster” celebrated its 20 year anniversary and further solidified their contributions to Texas music. Randy Rogers Band has achieved 7 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 2 Top 10 national Country radio hits and 6 Top 10 Billboard country albums. Their album “Homecoming” was released in 2022.

Sons of Habit

As of May 2024 Sons of Habit, a four piece music group from Owensboro, Kentucky, is taking the country-folk genre by storm with their unique blend of rock, blues and country music. Front man Mitchell Douglas, and the rest of the band, are bringing the authentic live show experience that is sure to captivate and impress. The band’s debut single “Madeline” released in July 2024 has garnered millions of streams worldwide, as well as their second released single “Annabelle” and third single “Undone” which are all adding to the buzz about the up and coming band. Their latest works, “Nostalgia EP” (2025) and “The Sticks (The Bonfire Sessions)” are showing great potential and the band is well on their way to reaching the top of the music industry. The band is relatively new to the lineup of musicians, but they have already toured with and opened for several big name acts, as well as toured numerous festivals across the country.

Starlight Theatre Information

One of the most historic outdoor amphitheaters in the world, located at 4600 Starlight Road in Kansas City’s Swope Park, Starlight Theatre is America’s oldest and most popular outdoor theater. Starlight Theatre has presented continuous outdoor theater productions for 84 plus seasons. On-site parking is conveniently located near the Starlight theater. Motorcoach parking and lot parking is also available for your drop-off. If on site parking is full, there is ample street parking and lots throughout the Kansas City area with a short walk to the Starlight Theater.
