Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms Co-Headlining Summer Tour with Spin Doctors

This fall experience the music of 3 iconic groups from the 90s when Blues Traveler & Gin Blossoms join together for a co-headlining tour with special guest Spin Doctors at Starlight Theatre on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026. The show kicks off at 6pm when all three groups will perform a long list of their greatest hits from songs spanning across the decades. The tour will visit 35 cities across the country.

Blues Traveler

John Popper, the lead singer of the Blues Traveler, is also able to play the harmonica and astound his crowds of fans with his numerous performances that feature a vast selection of songs from various genres of music.

Blues Traveler got their Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal for their hit song “Run-Around” which was published in 1995 and received platinum certification. The group was founded in 1987 and has since earned multiple platinum certifications with their breakthrough album “Four” reaching a 6x platinum certification.

Gin Blossoms

The Gin Blossoms bring their jangle pop to the show and are known for their hit songs such as “Follow You Down” as well as many other songs that have become favorites among fans.

The band members formed Gin Blossoms in 1987 in Tempe, Arizona. Their biggest hit, “Hey Jealousy,” was written by the band’s original guitarist Doug Hopkins. The song is about his own personal struggles with addiction.

Spin Doctors

The legendary trio is returning to the road with their latest studio album release, Face Full of Cake, and their single ‘Still a Gorilla’ being their first in over a decade. The Grammy nominated band brings fans their huge mainstream success off of first album, ‘Pocket Full of Kryptonite’ and its classic hits such as ‘Little Miss Can’t Be Wrong’. 

Starlight theater Information

The Starlight theater in Kansas City’s Swope Park at 4600 Starlight Road, is the oldest and largest continuously operated outdoor theater in the country, Starlight theater is a 16 acre venue with almost 8,000 seats and a number of services for patrons. The concession stands will be open offering a number of food and beverage options including ice cream, coffee and burrito bowls. All of the concession stands are cashless so guests can pay with card, cashless apps or mobile payments. The theater also has a number of ADA-accessible seating and parking options for patrons with special needs. Parking Information

Free general admission, first-come, first-served parking on the 16 acre outdoor lawn is available for all cars. A premium, paved parking option for $35 per car is available for advance purchase. Motorcoach parking is available for charter buses on the theater grounds.
