Starlight Theatre
Charley Crockett, acclaimed singer/songwriter and recording star will be bringing his Age of the Ram Tour to Kansas City’s Starlight Theater on Thursday, September 17th, 2026. Since first releasing music in 2015, Crockett has put out 16 albums of original and covers for the modern day traditionist, blending the sounds of rootsy country, blues and Southern musical legends with his own uniquely original twist.
Charley Crockett will perform songs off his new release Lonesome Drifter as well as some classic R&B cuts like The Man from Waco and I'm Just a Clown. He will be joined by support band, Durand Jones & The Indications performing throwback soul music to get the crowd excited.

Texas born and raised singer and songwriter Charley Crockett brings his unique blend of classic country performing songs like “The Man from Waco” and Crockett fan favorite “Trinity River.”
Charley is a distant relative of famous frontiersman Davy Crockett. Since 2015 he has released 16 studio albums. He was nominated for a GRAMMY Award. He was the 2015 Dallas Observer Music Award winner for Best Country/ Western/ Americana Artist.
Durand Jones & The Indications “Simmer Down” with retro sounds of the acclaimed retro soul group led by lead vocalist Durand Jones, guitarist and background vocalist Aaron Frazer, and guitarist Blake Rhein. Hits will be sung in a retro style including Is It Any Wonder?, Smile, Witchoo and Cruisin' to the Park.
Starlight Theatre is located at 4600 Starlight Road, Swope Park, Kansas City, MO. America's oldest and most continuing performing amphitheater, Starlight Theatre has entertained audiences for years featuring a variety of performing talents.
